About the experts we work with

At Telstra Foundation we work closely with partners that have deep expertise working with children and young people. The index will continue to be guided by their experience as it evolves.  Some of our youth and tech experts have shared their thoughts in the Index report – thank you to: PROJECT ROCKIT, ReachOut, Orygen Digital, UNICEF Australia, Alannah & Madeline Foundation, the Smith Family, WorkVentures, the Young & Resilient Research Centre and Telstra’s First Nations Directorate.

How did they contribute?

The experts we partner and collaborate with are dedicated advocates for young people and are driven by evidence-based research. They generously contribute their time to share their insights and findings with Telstra Foundation, Telstra employees, and other industry and sector stakeholders.

This collaboration has significantly deepened our understanding of the key opportunities and challenges that young people face in the digital landscape. Their valuable input has not only informed our current approach but will continue to guide the development of the Australian Youth Digital Index. By integrating their expertise, we ensure that our Index remains relevant, comprehensive, and impactful in addressing the needs of young Australians.
